How and why

My Story

My name is Somia Kaur. I have been advocating for women’s and young girls wellbeing support counselling since 2016.  My journey into this profession is deeply personal – I’m a survivor of domestic abuse, including emotional, financial, and physical trauma. I am also a mother, who has dealt with young girls, and teenagers dealing with mental health issues and emotional abandonment issues. This lived experience has shaped my understanding, empathy, and passion for helping others navigate their own healing journey. I specialise in supporting individuals who are working through trauma-whether it stems from childhood experiences, difficult relationships, or major life transitions.  My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgemental space where you can begin to process, heal, and find strength.

Safe Spaces 2 Mission

I believe that while our past shapes us, it does not define us. Together we can work toward a future filled with Hope, self-compassion, and clarity. Healing is possible and you don’t have to do it alone.
